Though I love the feeling of losing my sense of time and surroundings while drawing, I don't do it as much as I should because I'm a perfectionist.
That stifles me from even picking up the pencil a lot of the time. You know when you just feel deflated and discouraged when you make something that doesn't even come near your own expectations? Same. And I especially have that feeling before I've even started.
But the more you practice and challenge yourself, the better you get! So I started this series to practice drawing faces and to let go of the expectation that everything has to turn out perfect and proportional.
